Register on line as space is limited:

Check in on Saturday 8th July 8am to 9am:

Route opens at 9:30am

details:

Due to the restriction of the number of riders we can have on the reserve please go online and book your ride. This ride is only open to Dual purpose bikes with a 600cc or higher.

Once you arrive and have been checked in you will need to proceed to the Navworld gazebo with your GPS (Garmin compatible) unit. All tracks were plotted in Base Camp so other GPS units could prove problematic to down load the routes correctly.

There will be 2 out rides for the day. The first being a 40km route that will take you through the magnificent scenery and terrain of the TALA Private Game Reserve. Here you can get up close with most of the wild life including Rhino, Zebra, Wildebeest, Hippo and many species of antelope and birds. Please note that the track is a class RED which means you need to know how to handle your Dual bike. As the route is quite a technical ride it is pillion friendly for those with experience.

You will be required to stick within the parks speed limit since there are many wild animals around – 40km MAX. Please remain on-with your bike whist out on the route and don’t try encounter the wildlife and take selfies.

The second route is a GREEN country route which is plotted on the out skirts of the TALA Reserve. This route mainly consists of some awesome scenic gravel roads surrounding the reserve. This route is roughly 100km starting and returning in the reserve. Please keep your eyes open and focused as there could be animals or fellow bikers sharing the same road as you. This is not a race.

The entrance fee for the day will be R80.00 payable at the entrance gate which is a compulsory KZN Wildlife fee and R200.00 per rider at the check in point. Pillions can enter the park at no expense.

If you enter either by car or bike as a spectator for the ADV Riders Dual Bike Challenge you will only be required to pay the R80.00 per car or bike.

A portion of the R200.00 fee will be donated to the local children’s orphanage village – Lily of the Valley, which is up on the hill neighbouring TALA, we exit via their property for the 100km out ride.

The plan is to do the internal 40km ride in the morning then return to the registration area for a lunch then after lunch head out and tackle the 100km out ride.

On your return, you will be able to watch the final rounds of the Dual Bike Challenge taking place at the same venue. If you would like accommodation you will be able to reserve a room for both Friday and Saturday night.

If you are a Dual Bike Challenge competitor and would like to ride the route it will be at no extra charge other than your entrance fee already paid.

There will be a medical presence on site for the Saturday only.

The routes will NOT be available to ride on any other day than Saturday.

There will licensed bar available on site.
